How to Fest

HOW TO WATCH FILMS & SPECIAL EVENTS

This year’s Damn These Heels Festival offers viewing options for everyone — outdoor screenings at the drive-in and at the park, indoor screenings at the Rose Wagner, and online screenings at home or on the go. We know technology can be fickle and intimidating. Below is a quick overview of how to Fest 2021 style.

Have more questions? Check out Eventive’s help page or email us.

PURCHASING A TICKET

Using your computer, tablet, or mobile device visit the Festival homepage and select the film or event you are interested in.

Some films are offered in both in-theater and streaming formats. Click the “Buy Tickets” button for the version you want. You’ll be taken to our Eventive platform where you can purchase in-theater tickets (for the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center) and “Pre-Order” or “Unlock” access to stream films.

Have a pass? After clicking on “Buy Ticket” your options will say “Unlock For Free” if you are signed in.

ATTENDING A SCREENING AT THE ROSE

While in the theater, everyone is encouraged to wear a mask but vaccinated individuals can go without. Physical distancing is also in effect while attending Damn These Heels screenings and events. Please allow 3 seats (or approximately 8 pairs of heels) between you and individuals you do not know.

VIEWING ON YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE

If you order before the Festival begins or before a special event takes place you will receive an email when the film or event becomes available. If you are ordering a film during the Festival’s run dates, your film will be ready to view right away on your web browser.

VIEWING ON YOUR TV

If you have an Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku, Firestick, or similar device or smart TV, set your computer, tablet, or mobile device to “airplay” or “cast” to the TV device. This will allow you to share the screen from your computer, tablet, or mobile device to your TV – learn more here

OR use the Eventive TV app available on Apple TV or Roku, once you have purchased films through your web-browser*, your content will automatically appear on the app – learn more here.

*Please note that you must order all films through a web browser, the app is just for watching films. Additionally, all special events will require the use of a web browser.

Free screening of Flee at Liberty Park, SLC at 8 pm on July 17.
